# Neutral Marketplace

Neutral Marketplace lists newer strategies from trading firms that passed basic due diligence and run on Neutral Trade vault infrastructure.

Neutral Marketplace is where capable boutique trading firms prove their strategy on-chain, with real capital. Marketplace strategies passed basic due diligence and run on the same vault infrastructure as every Neutral Trade strategy. They are listed apart from [Neutral Curated](/for-capital-allocators/neutral-curated.md) and are clearly labeled. ## Why We Built It

Neutral Trade has always curated its strategies with care. That process protects depositors, but trading firms told us it was too rigid and too slow. Our vetting required three months of live testing before a strategy could list. In fast markets, the alpha can be gone by then.

The process also kept capable managers out. In the past, we turned strategies away for reasons such as these:

1. The strategy was correlated with strategies already on the platform.
2. The team did not manage more than $10M in capital.
3. The team had no traditional finance experience.
4. The team had no multi-year track record.

These are reasonable filters for a curated lineup. They are also the same filters that have kept talented traders away from capital for decades.

Crypto is about democratization. That means a chance for boutique managers who put their focus on generating alpha. This has been the mission of Neutral Trade from the start: not only to grow the assets of large, established teams, but to open the door for the next ones. Neutral Marketplace is the place for these managers to prove themselves.

Basic due diligence means that we met the team, we understand the strategy, and we completed full KYB on the firm.

**A Marketplace listing is not an endorsement of performance.** Neutral Trade has not yet tested a Marketplace strategy with its own capital, and Neutral Autopilot does not allocate to it. A newer strategy has a shorter record, so its results are less certain. Deposit only what you can afford to lose.

## What Stays the Same

A Marketplace strategy runs on Neutral Trade vault infrastructure. The same protections apply:

* The trading firm receives trading authority only. It cannot withdraw your deposit.
* Withdrawals go only to the wallet that deposited.

## Voltr Vaults

Voltr is part of Neutral. Voltr vaults are listed with Neutral Marketplace on the strategies page. Curators launch Voltr vaults permissionlessly and manage the funds directly. **Neutral Trade does not review these strategies**, and the checks in the table above do not apply to them. Explore them at [voltr.xyz](https://voltr.xyz/).

## From Marketplace to Curated

A Marketplace strategy that builds a live record on Neutral Trade can go through full due diligence and move to Neutral Curated.
