# SOL Yield

SOL Yield vaults on Neutral Trade: deposit SOL, and the strategy's returns are used to buy more SOL, so you grow the number of SOL you hold.

SOL Yield vaults are for holders who want to keep their SOL and grow it. You deposit SOL. The vault runs a professional trading strategy, and its returns are used to buy more SOL. Your position is measured in SOL, so the goal is a larger SOL balance over time.

All strategies in this category are run by external curator teams that have passed Neutral Trade's [Curator Selection](/curators/curator-selection.md) process.

## What to Know Before You Allocate

* **You keep SOL price exposure.** Your deposit stays in SOL. The vault aims to grow the number of SOL you hold, but the USD value of your position still moves with the SOL price.
* **Returns are not guaranteed.** The underlying strategy can lose money. A loss reduces the number of SOL in the vault.
* **Fees and redemptions** are shown on each strategy page and in the vault's Details view in the app. See [Fees + Redemption Period](/additional-info/fees-+-redemption-period.md).
