# Regional Availability

**Last updated:** 2026-07-28

Due to regulatory and sanctions requirements, Neutral Trade is not available everywhere. This page sets out where the Interface is restricted, why those restrictions exist, and what they mean for funds you have already deposited.

This page supplements the [Neutral Trade User Terms and Conditions](https://docs.neutral.trade/legal/neutral-trade-user-terms-and-conditions), in particular Section 5 (Eligible Users), Section 6 (Prohibited Uses), and Section 17 (Compliance). Where this page and the Terms and Conditions conflict, **the Terms and Conditions prevail**.

This list may change as regulations evolve. We review it periodically and expand access where it is legally possible to do so.

### 2. Why these restrictions exist

Neutral Trade provides access to professionally managed trading strategies. Different jurisdictions apply different rules to digital assets and to financial services, international sanctions programmes prohibit certain cross-border activity, and licensing requirements vary by jurisdiction and take time to satisfy.

We apply these restrictions because compliance protects both our users and the long-term viability of the platform. Operating in a restricted jurisdiction — even where it is technically possible — would place user funds and the platform at risk.

### 3. How location is determined

When you access the Interface, we derive a coarse country code from your connection and use it to apply geographic restrictions. This is described in Section 2 of our [Cookie Policy](https://docs.neutral.trade/legal/cookie-policy).

**What we use:** the approximate country associated with your connection at the time you access the Interface.

**What we do not use:** your citizenship, your passport country, or the location where you first registered.

Restrictions are based on where you are, not on who you are. If you are physically present in a supported region, you can access the Interface regardless of your nationality — but you remain responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including those of your home country.

### 4. What a restriction means for you

**Your deposits remain in the vault.** Positions are held by on-chain vault contracts and continue to be managed by the strategy. They are not affected by your ability to reach the Interface.

**Interface access is restricted.** While you are in a restricted region you cannot use the Neutral Trade Interface to make new deposits, request redemptions, or change your positions.

**Access resumes automatically.** When you access the Interface from a supported region again, access is restored. No action is required from you.

Redemption timing continues to be governed by each vault's settlement schedule, as set out in [Fees + Redemption Period](https://docs.neutral.trade/additional-info/fees-+-redemption-period).

### 5. Frequently asked questions

**How is my location determined?**

From the approximate country associated with your connection when you access the Interface. See Section 3.

**I am a citizen of a restricted country but I am currently in a supported region. Can I use Neutral Trade?**

Yes. Restrictions are based on your current location, not your citizenship or nationality. You should still make sure your use of the platform complies with the laws that apply to you.

**Will my funds be safe if I deposit and then travel to a restricted region?**

Your deposits remain in the vault and continue to be managed by the strategy. You will not be able to use the Interface or make new transactions while you are in a restricted region. Access is restored when you return to a supported region.

**When will Neutral Trade be available in my country?**

We expand access as regulations allow. We do not give timelines for specific jurisdictions.

**I could access Neutral Trade before and now I cannot. What changed?**

Regulations change and we adapt accordingly. If a region becomes restricted after you have used the platform, your deposits remain in the vault, but you will not be able to use the Interface until you access it from a supported region or the restriction is lifted.

**Who do I contact about regional restrictions?**
